A DISABLED man was attacked by two yobs as he walked home from the shops.

The 42-year-old was jumped near Ashton Park, Halewood, at lunchtime on Thursday.

The victim, who has a disease which turns muscle into bone, had hospital treatment after being pushed over, kicked and punched.

Today the man, who asked not to be named, told the ECHO the elderly and disabled residents in the three blocks of sheltered accommodation comes under frequent attack.
