A wheelchair-bound man was punched so hard that he fell onto the ground and was knocked unconscious. His attacker also spat at him.
The 25-year-old victim had become separated from his wife and stopped a member of the public in Mercers Row in Northampton town centre to ask if they had seen her. The offender then spat at the victim and they had a brief conversation before the
offender then punched the victim, who fell out of his wheelchair. The assault took place between 1am and 2.30am on Sunday.
